As the cotton harvest season begins in the Söke Plain, the Söke Cotton Quality Preservation District Commission announced the measures to be taken for the 2025 cotton harvest period. The meeting, chaired by Söke District Governor Ali Akça, was attended by commission members including the District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Zeki Berhuni, President of the Söke Chamber of Agriculture Mustafa Tanyeri, President of the Söke Trade Exchange Ahmet Nejat Sağel, and Chairman of the Tariş Cotton Cooperative Board İsmail Özer. The commission announced to the public the decisions taken for the regular, healthy, and quality execution of the cotton harvest. It was stated that starting from September 1, 2025, inspections in the field by the District Directorate of Agriculture personnel along with technical teams will commence.
