Since the beginning of 2020, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Novosibirsk Region has inspected 435 thousand tons of grain from the region, issuing 10,388 phytosanitary certificates, double the number from the same period in 2019. The majority of the shipped grain, which made up 86% of the volume, consisted of wheat, rapeseed, and peas. These grain consignments were exported to various countries including Latvia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Nepal, and Kazakhstan. No quarantine organisms were detected in the export consignments, as confirmed by laboratory examinations.
