According to Orenburgstat, in the consumer market of the Orenburg region within a month (from July 7 to August 4), vegetable products became cheaper. Prices for beets decreased by 30.6% to 57.88 rubles/kg, potatoes by 28.6% to 59.21 rubles/kg, white cabbage by 28.5% to 38.33 rubles/kg, fresh cucumbers by 20% to 96.97 rubles/kg, carrots by 17% to 62.13 rubles/kg, fresh tomatoes by 15.5% to 141.86 rubles/kg, onions by 15% to 54.96 rubles/kg. The cost of apples increased by 2.7% to 170.29 rubles/kg, while bananas became cheaper by 4.7% to 151.94 rubles/kg. In the dairy products segment, price fluctuations of up to 2% were recorded. The average cost of butter on August 4 was 1,018.83 rubles/kg, cottage cheese 426.84 rubles/kg, sour cream 313.69 rubles/kg, cheeses (hard, semi-hard, soft) 839.66 rubles/kg, whole ultra-pasteurized milk 2.5–3.2% fat content 100.17 rubles/l, pasteurized 82.60 rubles/l.
