The largest price decrease of 3% was observed for tomatoes and onions. According to Samarastat, from December 9 to December 15 in the Samara region, the average consumer price for tomatoes decreased by 3.3% (to 202.28 RUB/kg), onions by 3.2% (to 32.68 RUB/kg), beets by 1.6% (to 30.34 RUB/kg), white cabbage by 1.0% (to 27.43 RUB/kg), carrots by 0.8% (to 31.10 RUB/kg), and potatoes by 0.1% (to 33.99 RUB/kg). Cucumbers could be purchased on average at 174.70 RUB/kg, apples at 137.88 RUB/kg, bananas at 153.89 RUB/kg, vegetable preserves for baby food at 646.64 RUB/kg, and fruit and berry preserves at 567.23 RUB/kg. In the meat and meat products market over the week, pork became cheaper (by 2.8%, to 378.44 RUB/kg), chilled and frozen chickens (by 1.4%, to 208.32 RUB/kg), and meat preserves for baby food (by 0.8%, to 1,185.10 RUB/kg).
