Since the launch of the electronic system "eKonopli," 38 companies involved in growing and processing hemp for industrial purposes have already registered. This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval. Currently, 27 entities have registered a planned sowing area on 595 land plots covering 3,258 hectares. Of these, 16 have already sown 1,251 hectares. Koval recalled that the "eKonopli" system, launched on March 10, 2025, was created to support business, reduce corruption risks, and restore Ukraine's leadership in the industrial hemp sector. With the launch of "eKonopli," Ukraine no longer requires licensing for industrial hemp production, which previously took up to three months.
