In Ukraine, the procedure for obtaining logging tickets has been simplified.

On October 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that introduced changes to the Procedure for the implementation of the experimental project on issuing a special permit for the special use of forest resources (logging ticket) in electronic form. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. According to the document, forest users will be able to continuously receive permits for timber harvesting, even during the merger, joining, or transformation of an enterprise. This will allow for timely supply of timber to consumers, including fuelwood for the population, which is critically important in the autumn-winter period when attacks on energy infrastructure continue.
