The European market is facing an oversupply of soybeans from Brazil and the U.S., which has led to a decrease in demand from processing companies. In contrast, Ukrainian farmers are hesitant to sell their soybeans due to low prices, causing a reduced supply. Currently, GMO soybeans are priced at $384-387 in Ukraine and €395-410 in Italy, while NON-GMO soybeans are more expensive, at $425-430 in Ukraine and €435-440 in Hungary and Italy. Soybean prices have been on a downward trend for the past three weeks.
