Ukraine's agricultural agency, Minagro, is taking over control of milk and dairy products imported from Poland, as part of a resolution in progress. This move includes document verification, compliance checks, animal health inspections, and laboratory tests at several checkpoints. This decision comes after Poland and several other Eastern European countries banned the import of Ukrainian agricultural products, including 90% of supplies such as corn, wheat, sunflower, and rapeseed, until mid-June. This ban, which affected 10% of Ukraine's agricultural exports, was initially supported by the European Commission.
