The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to strengthen support for the livestock industry in the frontline territories. This is reported by ProAgro.
The corresponding resolution "On Amending the Procedure for the Use of Funds Provided in the State Budget for State Support for the Development of Animal Husbandry and Processing of Agricultural Products" was adopted at a regular meeting. The goal is to enhance state support for agricultural producers in the frontline territories and to develop the processing of agricultural products and animal husbandry.
The changes introduced provide for an increase in the amount of partial reimbursement of the cost of constructing livestock farms for keeping cattle in the frontline territories from 25% to 50% of the cost.
"Increasing the reimbursement to 50% is significant financial support for businesses that continue to invest in the restoration of animal husbandry. This decision will not only reduce the cost of building new facilities but will also contribute to the growth of milk production and value-added products.
