In June, India saw an increase in palm oil imports from 763 to 786 thousand tons and sunflower oil imports from 410 to 465 thousand tons, while soybean imports decreased from 324 to 275 thousand tons. The total volume of palm oil imported in the 2023/24 marketing year (November to June) decreased by 4.4% to 5.76 million tons compared to the previous season. Sunflower oil imports also decreased by 33% to 2.46 million tons, and soybean oil imports decreased by 25% to 1.86 million tons, as reported by Atria Brokers.
