The National Association of Industrial Packagers and Refiners of Edible Oils (Anierac) has pointed out that the total amount of olive oil and other vegetable oils put on the market by its companies stands at 721.63 million liters, with an increase of 10.80% compared to the same period last year. Anierac encompasses approximately 81% of the national market for edible vegetable oils, including 65% of olive oils and 98% of other vegetable oils. Within olive oil sales, the largest volume of sales from its industries has corresponded to "extra virgin," which with 142.65 million liters accumulated shows an increase of 48%; the "mild," "virgin," and "intense" categories have also registered increases of 26%, 25%, and 17%, respectively. ...
