With the aim of continuing to boost palm oil production in Peru, Grupo Kampu and Manantial Ludaok from Panama are betting on theoretical-practical training directly in production centers. The sessions will be led by Agr. Eng. Óscar Carvajal, an international palm oil specialist and technical reference in Latin America. This agro-economic activity, still little promoted, is consolidating itself as a key pillar of development in the Peruvian Amazon, even in areas previously affected by illegal deforestation. Palm oil represents a sustainable employment-generating alternative, with over 17,000 direct jobs and 25,000 indirect jobs, benefiting around 7,200 families in the regions of San Martín, Ucayali, Loreto, and Huánuco.
