Iraq is set to deliver 320,000 tons of wheat to Lebanon, as announced by Iraq's Deputy Minister of Trade, Sattar Al-Jaberi. The decision was made after a meeting with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri. The wheat will be shipped by land once the situation in Syria stabilizes. An Iraqi delegation will visit Lebanon to provide food and medical aid, and discuss Iraq's participation in providing further assistance to Lebanon. This follows the return of Lebanese refugees in Iraq, who had fled due to recent Israeli aggression, to their southern cities and villages following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
