The Jangseung Livestock Cooperative (President Kim Jae-eun) has been receiving praise for taking proactive measures to stabilize the supply and demand of feed for livestock farmers in the area. Due to frequent rains this autumn, the supply and demand of rice straw feed has not been smooth nationwide. The Jangseung Livestock Cooperative provided a total of 1,600 straw bales (1,040 tons) at a discount to over 900 livestock farmers in the area. This event is expected to help resolve the feed supply difficulties of livestock farmers, who have had trouble collecting rice straw due to this autumn's rainy season, and to contribute to reducing livestock farming management costs. President Kim Jae-eun said, "In the future, we will also respond quickly to situations where difficulties in feed supply are expected and reduce the burden on livestock farmers' management costs."
