The Jeju Pig Farm Cooperative, led by Chairman Go Kwon-jin, has achieved its second consecutive year of pork exports to Hong Kong, with a recent shipment comprising 100 pigs and 8 tons of pork. This success builds on the cooperative's initial export venture to Hong Kong in the previous year. The export milestone was marked by a ceremony at the cooperative's export meat processing plant. Ivan Cheung, CEO of BEST PRICE MEAT FOOD, the Hong Kong importer, commended the quality of Jeju pork during his visit to the island, where he also discussed export expansion with Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon. The cooperative is now aiming to boost its export volume, targeting shipments of more than 300 heads of pork per month in the future.
