Jeonju City, cutting off the source of AI proliferation

Mayor Lee Hak-soo and Jeollabuk-do Economic Deputy Governor Kim Jong-hoon visited the Yonggye-dong Hub Disinfection Facility in Jeongeup City on the 5th to inspect the status of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) prevention. This inspection was conducted following the occurrence of AI at a duck farm in Gwangju last October, and amid growing concerns about the spread of livestock infectious diseases during the winter season, in order to strengthen prevention measures.
