Jindo County (County Head Kim Heesoo) held a "Jindo Clean Agricultural and Marine Products Export Agreement Ceremony" with the Japan Kyushu Korean Association (Chairman Sim Hyunsu) on the 16th to formalize a cooperative relationship aimed at entering the Japanese market. Through this agreement, agricultural and marine products from Jindo County, valued at a total of 1 million dollars, are scheduled to be exported, and Jindo County has laid the groundwork for a full-scale entry into the Japanese market. Prior to the agreement ceremony, Jindo County invited executives from the Japan Kyushu Korean Association to visit the production sites of Jindo's agricultural and marine products, providing them with an opportunity to directly confirm the quality and production process of Jindo's agricultural and marine products. On the day of the agreement ceremony, the main export items were confirmed to include abalone, seaweed, gopchang kim (seaweed for gopchang), and rice.
