The Junín Regional Directorate of Agriculture has administered health treatments to a total of 5,650 sheep and alpacas across the Churco, Quilcatacta, and Ulcumayo sectors in the province of Junín. This initiative aims to safeguard the livestock of small-scale farmers facing challenges due to low temperatures and drought. Regular dosing is crucial for the well-being of the animals and to boost the productivity of the herds, thereby securing the income of the farming families. The Agrarian Agency of Junín plans to continue its support for local producers by focusing on animal health and promoting the sustainable growth of the livestock sector.
