The Competitiveness Compensation Program (Agroideas) delivered various goods to the Association of Cocoa Farmers New Spring of Faith and Joy, located in Selva de Oro, Río Tambo district, Satipo province, Junín region. The delivery has a co-financing of S/ 617,713 and aims to strengthen the work of cocoa farming families that drive the development of the Valley of the Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro Rivers (Vraem). As part of the co-financed Business Plan, key equipment was granted to optimize agricultural tasks and improve productivity in the field. The delivery included cargo motorcycles, brush cutters, pesticide sprayers, small chainsaws, and specialized tools that will allow for more efficient and safe handling of the crops. These goods represent a significant advance for the harvesting, maintenance, and transportation of cocoa produced in the heart of the Vraem, enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the entire production chain.
