Kazakhstan's trade turnover with member countries of the Organization of Turkic States accounts for 28% of its total trade, according to the country's Minister of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov. Traditional exports include wheat, barley, corn, lentils, and flour. However, grain trade with Azerbaijan has nearly halved. To address this, Saparov proposed supplying grain to Azerbaijan on installment payment terms via the national 'Food Corporation'. These remarks were made at the 'KazAgroZhambyl-2024' international agricultural forum and exhibition, featuring 71 companies from various countries.
