Kazakhstan is planning to increase its wheat exports to Azerbaijan, which have been limited to 300,000 tons per year since 2017, to the previous export scale. The country is studying mechanisms to make its wheat more competitive in the Azerbaijan market. The Baku terminal has a grain transshipment capacity of about 600,000 tons per year, and the annual processing capacity of the flour processing complex is about 50,000 tons. Additionally, Kazakhstan Grain Company, which has been successfully developing the Chinese market since 2012, plans to use China's transit potential to export grain to Southeast Asian countries.
