Belarus has imposed a temporary export ban on seven large meat and dairy producers, including Servolux Agro, Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm, Druzhba Poultry Farm, Baranovichi Poultry Farm, and the 1st Minsk Poultry Farm, and the Rogachev and Lepel dairy plants. The ban, aimed at keeping domestic food prices stable, forbids these companies from exporting chicken meat, table eggs, and dairy products, especially chicken meat and dairy products to Russia. Although the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the affected companies have not commented on the situation, experts believe that Russian companies will benefit from this ban as they will have less competition. The price stability in Belarus is expected to persist, with no anticipated increase in dairy product prices in Russia.
