Korea and Ireland have agreed to enhance cooperation for a sustainable agricultural transition. On October 6th, Vice Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Park Beom-soo met with Irish Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Charlie McConnellough in Seoul to discuss smart agriculture and eco-friendly practices. They signed a 'Letter of Intent for Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Agricultural Systems,' aiming to leverage each country's strengths in digital technology and environmental practices. This agreement is expected to evolve into a business MOU, with hopes of introducing Korean smart agriculture innovations to Ireland.
