Korea Rural Community Corporation, Gangwon Regional Headquarters, seeks rural spatial planning strategies

The Gangwon Regional Headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation held the 2nd Rural Space Forum in 2025 on the 30th at the Bears Hotel in Chuncheon, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. This forum was organized to share the trends in government rural space policies and the utilization plans for rural specialty areas following the implementation of the law on restructuring and support for rural spaces, and to explore strategies for establishing rural space plans that reflect the geographical characteristics of border areas and fishing villages in the Gangwon region, as well as policy characteristics such as regulatory exceptions under the Special Act of Gangwon Province. Around 100 people attended the forum, including officials from Gangwon Province's cities and counties, experts, and field activists.
