The Kursk region in Russia has seen a significant increase in pork, frozen pork offal, and pork fat exports from January to November 2021, compared to the previous year. The exports amounted to 18.0 thousand tons, valued at USD 40.3 million, with the main buyers being Vietnam, Belarus, and Hong Kong. Vietnam is the primary importer of Russian pork, with supplies to the country reaching 52.4 thousand tons, an increase from 48.8 thousand tons in 2020. The average price of pork exported from the Kursk region in 2021 was USD 2,749.1 per ton, up from USD 2,495.1 per ton in 2020. The region's agricultural organizations produced 359.0 thousand tons of pork for slaughter in the first ten months of the year, making it the second-largest producer in Russia.
