La Niña is active and should be the main ally of the rural producer, reinforcing the heavy rains in the Midwest and Southeast of Brazil starting in December. Meteorologist Artur Müller confirmed that the driest and most irregular period is ending. According to him, the expectation is that the South Atlantic Convergence Zone (SACZ), typical in periods of La Niña, will establish itself and bring the necessary precipitation to reverse the water deficit and recover the pastures. The good news is that the first week of December will be marked by the arrival of a 50-millimeter rainfall in Central Brazil. This precipitation is what "wets the soil" and is crucial for the most needy areas, such as northern Mato Grosso do Sul, southern Mato Grosso, and the Triângulo Mineiro region. In Uberaba (MG), the forecast is for 300 millimeters of rain in the next 30 days, with highs falling to 25°C to 26°C.
