Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai is pursuing to expand cooperation with Indonesia in the manufacturing of cooking oil, following a partnership with an Indonesian private company worth over $2 billion. This partnership is part of South-South cooperation and aims to extend the project up the value chain to produce other finished products. The President also seeks to diversify markets and improve trade relations. Both leaders have shown a commitment to continue cooperating for mutual progress. The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the total delegation at the leaders' forum reached over 1,400 people from 29 countries, with the President of Ghana also expressing interests in improving bilateral relations with Indonesia.
