Lima: Sangallaya producers have a new 9,200 m³ reservoir

The Lima Regional Directorate of Agriculture has inaugurated a new 9,200 m³ reservoir in the San Miguel de Arcángel de Chaca area, Sangallaya district, Huarochirí province. The reservoir will be used to irrigate 40 hectares of crops, aiding small producers of avocado, custard apple, and apple. The regional director, José Mendoza, has emphasized the department's commitment to promoting the agricultural sector through initiatives like geomembrane reservoirs, demonstrating their dedication to local producers and the enhancement of agriculture in the region.
