The wheat harvest is set to be a record this year. According to forecasts from the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, it will reach 25.5 million tons, surpassing the previous record by almost 15%. This necessitates well-oiled commercial strategies.
Analyst Gustavo López addressed this issue, indicating that the campaign "is presenting with high yield, but with poor quality." He highlighted that, although the yields in regions such as the NEA are reaching between 2,900 and 3,000 kg per hectare, "there is a dichotomy: a price that is not the best, a lot of volume, and quality that is quite poor."
