Lower supply drives up beef price in São Paulo

According to the survey, the supply of cattle for slaughter continues to meet the demand of the slaughterhouses, but with less leeway compared to previous days, which has led sellers to adopt a more reserved stance. "There were signs of improvement in the outflow of meat, but still below the industry's expectations," Scot Consultoria reported. In view of this scenario, the price per arroba of fattened cattle increased by R$ 2.00, while that of heifers rose by R$ 1.00.
