Many high-tech fruit and vegetable production models have profits of more than 400 million VND/ha in Vietnam

The Institute of Food Crops and Food Crops (Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences) coordinated with the National Agricultural Extension Center to carry out a project to build a model for applying substrates to produce a number of high-quality vegetables, attached to them. with product consumption in the Northern provinces in the period 2021 - 2023. As a result, the project has built 15 high-quality fruit and vegetable production models (7 pineapple models, 6 cucumber models, 2 tomato models) in the provinces of Hai Duong, Bac Giang and Thanh Hoa. with a total planting area of 25 hectares (12 hectares of pineapple melons, 10 hectares of cucumbers, 3 hectares of tomatoes). The models have attracted 132 households to participate. The planted tree varieties all grow, develop healthily, have high productivity and quality, and the efficiency of intensive farming exceeds the control by 31 - 50%.
