Governor of Bitlis Ahmet Karakaya participated in the walnut harvest in the district of Adilcevaz.
The walnut harvest event was held in the walnut orchard of Adilcevaz walnut grower Mehmet Akkoyun. Governor Karakaya, who participated in the harvest, took charge of the walnut dumping machine and collected walnuts, and received information about the harvest process from the producers.
Governor Karakaya stated that the walnut of Adilcevaz is an important agricultural value in terms of the regional economy, and expressed that the efforts to increase walnut production and support farmers will continue.
Governor Karakaya was accompanied by Provincial Police Chief Koray Şensoy, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Barış Soyal, and Adilcevaz Mayor Abdullah Akbaba.
