The Paraguayan National Animal Quality and Health Service (Senacsa) has received a delegation from Mexico to audit its meat processing system, as part of the process to export its beef to Mexico. The delegation, made up of six veterinary zootechnical doctors from the National Health, Safety and Quality Service (Senasica), inspected plants, production units, laboratories, and entry points. This comes as Mexico increases its imports of bovine meat, with a nearly 40% year-on-year increase in the first quarter of this year. The United States, Nicaragua, Brazil, and Argentina are the main suppliers of bovine meat to Mexico.
