Mexico exports more tequila than ever

Mexico exported more tequila than ever last year. Exports of alcoholic beverages increased by almost a fifth, the largest increase in twelve years. Almost all tequila exported goes to the United States. In total, 339 million liters of tequila were exported from Mexico last year, more than 80 percent of which went to the US.
