In September, Mexico became the top market for US beef exports, with a 20% increase from the previous year, reaching 19,692 mt. The export value also rose by 19% to $112.1 million. From January to September, US beef exports to Mexico saw a 13% increase in volume to 173,283 mt, and a 17% increase in value to over $1 billion. Variety meat exports also surged by 17%, contributing to a 10% increase in value to almost $250 million, with significant contributions from beef tripe, lips, and hearts.
