This was pointed out by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), which highlighted that our country is the second largest producer and exporter of Hass avocados globally and the main supplier of this fruit in the European market. As of 2025, Peruvian exports of Hass avocados reached 692 thousand tons, reaching 70 international markets and benefiting more than 30 thousand producers. To continue strengthening this productive chain, Midagri and the Association of Producers and Exporters of Hass Avocados of Peru (ProHass) agreed to develop joint actions to continue promoting the development of the sector and the quality of Peruvian Hass avocados.
