Midagri drives "Joint Operation" strategy to strengthen the articulation of exportable mango supply

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agromercado, presented the commercial strategy "Joint Operation for Export Purposes," a mechanism aimed at linking mango producer organizations with agro-export companies and cooperatives, in order to facilitate their entry into the international market. This initiative was developed in coordination with the Regional Government of Piura. The initiative proposes that producers can export part of their harvest through an operator (company or cooperative), taking advantage of their technical, logistical capacity, and experience in export processes. Additionally, it aims to ensure that small organized producers do not lose their legal autonomy or require the creation of a new legal entity, allowing them to recover the IGV and Drawback, which are benefits associated with exports; as well as accessing better commercial conditions through an associative scheme that integrates supply, quality, and negotiation.
