Egypt's agricultural exports have seen a significant increase, reaching over 3.3 million tons according to a report from the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Al-Qusayr. The main exports include citrus, potatoes, onions, strawberries, pomegranates, beans, beets, guavas, peppers, mangoes, garlic, grapes, along with 8,500 tons of peaches and 6,500 tons of watermelon. These products are being exported to countries such as England, Italy, Russia, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Libya and Iraq. The number of countries importing Egyptian agricultural products has grown to over 160, with an increase of about 250 thousand tons compared to the same period last year. The Minister credited the success to the dedication of the agricultural quarantine workers, highlighting their role in facilitating exports and supporting the national economy.
