(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Shin Seon-mi = Export livestock grade verification certificates can now be obtained in 11 languages.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced on the 18th that it revised the 'Regulations on Issuance of Foreign Language Livestock Grade Verification Certificates for Exported Livestock' on the 16th.
Until now, these certificates were available in 5 languages only for cattle, but can now be obtained in 11 languages for six items including cattle, pigs, eggs, chickens, ducks, and honey.
Jeon Ik-sung, head of the Livestock Distribution Team at the ministry, said, "We will continuously identify export company needs and plan to add languages through regulation revisions as necessary."
