Indonesian hybrid corn seeds produced by children have been exported to Thailand, competing successfully in the international market. The Agricultural Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture continues to expand this program, with potential exports to other countries. The seed export provides double the added value and improves farmers' welfare. The Tuban Regency government's efforts in developing corporate-based hybrid corn seeds have resulted in export opportunities, creating jobs, and improving farmers' welfare. East Java Province is optimistic that this model can reduce poverty in rural areas by replicating in several areas.
