In order to provide sanitary guarantees and safeguard animal welfare, the National Service of Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) carries out sanitary control tasks on equines in export-oriented production facilities in the central and northern parts of the province of Buenos Aires. So far this year, veterinarians from the Buenos Aires North Regional Center have overseen the procedure for the authorization of 1,205 equines that departed for sporting purposes (polo and endurance), from properties located in Exaltación de la Cruz, Cañuelas, San Antonio de Areco, San Miguel del Monte, Lobos, Luján, Chascomús, among other localities.
