In the first half of 2021, Moscow's dairy exports experienced a significant surge, with a 54.9% increase from the previous year and an 119.4% increase from 2019, amounting to $ 19.07 million. The total Russian dairy exports for the same period reached $ 151.32 million, marking a 19.3% increase from 2020 and 38.7% from 2019. Moscow's dairy exports were primarily cheese and cottage cheese, followed by yoghurts, milk, and cream, with the main consumers being Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. Moscow's dairy producers are leveraging modern equipment to produce quality products, contributing to their growth in both domestic and international markets. There is ongoing modernization of production facilities, support from tax incentives, subsidies, loans, and grants, positioning Moscow's dairy industry for significant growth in the global dairy market, particularly in countries like Abkhazia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan, as well as non-CIS countries such as the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
