The conference aims to explain to applicants the relevant regulations on land use and development according to the "Management Law of Idle, Vacant, and Undeveloped Land." Although the tax exemption period is three years, during this period, applicants need to pay a performance guarantee (PG).
Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation Dr. Ding Tu expressed hope that applicants for the use rights of idle, vacant, and undeveloped land should only apply for the land area that they can actually develop. If development is completed within the specified area, they can apply again to expand the land based on their capabilities.
He added that although the law allows for the development of approved land within four years, grape cultivation requires three years before generating income, so all planting work must be completed within three years of the land being approved.
Furthermore, to ensure the smooth progress of grape cultivation projects, relevant departments will provide assistance according to the law if difficulties arise.
