(Naju=Yonhap News) Naju City, South Jeolla Province, announced on the 14th that it has exported 4.5 tons of registered Naju pear varieties to France.
This export is a follow-up measure to the agricultural, fisheries, and food export business cooperation agreement (MOU) concluded by Mayor Yoon Byung-tae during his visit to France in June, and the exported pears are expected to be sold through local Korean markets.
Naju City is also making a full-scale entry into the European market by concluding an export agreement with Austria.
