Members Nam Hyun-su and Baek Ok-ja (Boncheon Farm) from the Yulgok Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Kang Ho-yoon) have been selected as the winners of the November "This Month's New Farmer Award" by the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives. The couple, aged 59 and 58, have been engaged in farming activities for 30 years, primarily cultivating onions and garlic. By minimizing pesticide use and implementing eco-friendly pest control methods, they have been at the forefront of producing high-quality agricultural products, demonstrating exemplary farming practices. Additionally, by serving as local farming association presidents, they have been leading by example as outstanding members, contributing to the advancement of agriculture and rural areas, and serving as a model for other farmers in the region. The "This Month's New Farmer Award" is given by the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives to the most outstanding leading farmers and livestock farmers nationwide.
