National Agricultural Promotion supports Lào Cai in restoring production after floods

After storm No. 10, Lào Cai province recorded total damages amounting to 2.75 trillion VND. In agriculture, over 2,500 hectares of rice, nearly 1,000 hectares of corn and vegetables, 684 hectares of annual crops, more than 11,800 poultry, 200 pigs, and over 100 hectares of aquaculture were damaged. Agricultural infrastructure such as transportation and irrigation systems were severely damaged, causing a halt in production activities and severely impacting people's income. In response to this situation, immediately after the floods, the National Agricultural Extension Center was present in Quy Mông commune, Lào Cai province to coordinate with local authorities to implement guidance and support for people to restore agricultural production.
