REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Food Agency (NFA) continues to strengthen strategic measures to maintain the stability of food supply and prices as part of efforts to curb the national inflation rate. Various interventions are carried out to ensure price balance between farmers, traders, and consumers, as well as to maintain the purchasing power of the public amid global economic pressures. These measures were the main discussion at the Regional Inflation Control Coordination Meeting held by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Jakarta, Monday (10/6/2025). In the forum, the NFA presented the latest conditions of strategic food commodity prices and the implementation of various stabilization programs in the field. NFA Food Vigilance Director, Nita Yulianis, explained, based on data from the Food Price Panel as of October 5, 2025, several commodities at the producer level showed prices below the Government Purchase Price (GPP) or Purchase Reference Price (PRP).
