Poland has become the first European Union country recognized by the Philippines for its regionalization system to combat avian influenza, allowing Polish poultry products to be exported with agreed health certificates. The opening of the Philippines market, which has a large population and relies heavily on poultry meat in its diet, presents new opportunities for Polish poultry plants. Poland is already a leading producer of poultry meat in the EU, with a significant portion of its production being exported to global markets, particularly within the European market.
