This achievement was made possible thanks to the Agricultural Producers Committee “Kanka Yami,” made up of members of the indigenous Asheninka – Yine people, during the 1st Atalaya Business Round 2025, an event that took place from December 11 to 13 and brought together more than 26 native communities dedicated to the production of cocoa, coffee, plantains, handicrafts, and commercial enterprises from the region. Bruno Francisco Fernández Quispe, Zonal Link of the Forests Program in Atalaya, highlighted the impact of this agreement: "The community of Santa Clara de Raimondi now has a concrete opportunity to strengthen its family economy, promote the inclusion of its products in sustainable value chains, and reaffirm the commitment of the families to the conservation of the forests."
