Nepal reports first ever African swine fever outbreak

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) has reported the first African swine fever outbreak in Nepal. On Thursday May 19, it was reported that six outbreaks of the virus have been recorded on Nepalese pig farms, with 1,426 infections and 934 pig deaths already.
